Professional Learning Communities
As a future educator, I find it very important to stay connected with my teammates. In order to do this I will be participating in any and all Professional Learning Communities. This will not only help myself gain new knowledge, but I will also be able to help my coworkers in helping them gain new knowledge by lending my advice.
Short-Term Goals (0-1 year)
I will explore how I can use different learning communities with both my current employer as well as my family.
-Plan: Research the best way about incorporating learning communities into my nanny job.
I will start seeking out professional learning communities that I can join once I start teaching.
-Plan: Ask current teachers that I know if they are apart of any learning communities that they feel might by beneficial to me.
-Plan: I will join different teaching clubs that focus on professional learning communities.
Long- Term Goals (1+ year)
I will lead my Professional Learning Community in being successful.
-Plan: I will put together a monthly meeting that will go over new areas that need to be covered and focused on.
-Plan: I will encourage others to use their mistakes to help others and create a new plan of action.
